When Greenwood Mayor-elect Mark Myers takes office in January, he’ll face a city that has been borrowing to fill budget gaps and a downtown in dire need of revitalization.

Myers, 49, is the son of a former Greenwood mayor, the late Larry W. Myers, and his family founded Myers Ambulance Service. He’s a 1981 graduate of Greenwood High School and attended Indiana Wesleyan and Wesley Biblical Seminary.
