Meet Hannah, Summer Student Writer

Hannah Combs (Dec ’15) is a student of Writing and Humanities through the John Wesley Honors College. She hopes to enter a PhD program in American Literature in the fall of 2016, and eventually teach at a university. Hannah is from Lebanon, Ohio, and writes poetry and nonfiction essays.

 

 In the past three years at Indiana Wesleyan, Hannah has been a writing tutor in the Ink Well, a summer intern in the Alliance Garden, and will serve as Student Government Association’s Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Editor in Chief of Caesura Literary Magazine this coming semester. This summer, in addition to writing for the alumni blog, she is working for the IWU Grounds crew and studying furiously for the GRE.

Hannah is excited to connect with alumni and write about their post-grad journeys. She hopes to encourage alumni as well as current students with stories of how people are using their degrees and experiences from Indiana Wesleyan to impact their communities.
